About Lunatiq

One questionable idea led to another.

I felt driven into one of the hardest, darkest times in my life... so far, haha. I had just gotten divorced, I’d left an emotionally abusive ex-husband, and I truly felt like there was nowhere to go but six feet under or up.

I needed something to occupy my very hyperactive mind and high-energy body while my life was seemingly falling apart, so I bought a vending machine. I wanted it to be Witchy Barbie, hahaha. I think I hit the mark.

I had a friend introduce me to tarot at the time, and I was experimenting with my own sense of self, identity, and style. Mystery jewelry packages and tarot just seemed to collide in my mind, and Lunatiq emerged.

The first mall I attempted was the Provo mall, and lucky me, they were delighted to have me. I placed it there in May 2025.

I considered the machine a hobby, though it had paid for itself faster than I had expected and was doing decently at the oh-so-lonely Provo mall.

I had gotten myself a corporate job at a security company. The job is in my top two most hated jobs in my career: a toxic environment, monotonous work, and the type of place that rewards low energy.

I quit on the spot after I had been disrespected enough times. To date, it was the best, most euphoric feeling I’ve ever felt. I don’t know if it was because the idea of quitting on the spot had seemed so outlandish to me before or what, but it felt incredible.

After that, I decided to grow Lunatiq, to make it possible for more people to experience the wonder and magic that I feel when I practice tarot, and find cute jewelry too :*

My love for tarot has grown from that first pulled card to what it means to me today. It has gone from delightful entertainment to a resource I go to when I need guidance, when shit hits the fan. I like to think that the cards talk to me and say:

Guidance is here.

You just have to let it find you.
